Delta Care remembers its roots

Delta Care has been at the heart of Preston since 1991. Now with offices in Chorley, Southport, Macclesfield and Trafford, Delta Care wants to give back to the people from "where it all began." Being a family business, Delta Care understands the importance of family life, especially at Christmas and New Year. Delta Care has found three innovative solutions for people who need care.
Adam Baki, Delta Care's Operations Director says, "'Care over Christmas' is an ideal gift either for a loved one or as a gift to yourself. The Christmas and New Year period can bring additional pressures both financially and on your time. People who need care can often feel isolated and lonely and people who care can often feel guilty for spending time away from the caring situation. We are delighted to be able to subsidise three different care solutions for the people of Preston at a time when it is needed most."
100 hours of home care will be subsidised by Delta Care at £15.00 per hour, Monday to Sunday. These hours are open to existing and new Preston clients, and are on a first come, first served basis. Existing clients can use the subsidised hours to complement their usual care provision. The hours are to be used between 1st November 2018 and 31st January 2019, excluding Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year's Day and overnight care. They can be used for domestic work, shopping, care, social visits.
20 places of day care per week are to be subsidised at £40 per day, £20 per half day and £55 per day, £30 per half day for dementia care, to include all meals and transport, Monday to Friday. These places are open to existing Charlotte House service users and new Preston clients, and are on a first come, first served basis. Existing service users can use the subsidised places to complement their usual care provision. The subsidised places are to be taken between 1st November 2018 and 31st January 2019, excluding Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day. Every new service user is entitled to a free taster day.
From 1st November 2018 to 31st January 2019, bath and pamper sessions will be offered at Charlotte House at a subsidised rate of £25.00 per session. For ladies this can include blow dry and nail paint, for gentlemen, hair-wash and shave. The bath is fully accessible and has hoist facilities. It's ideal for those who have a special occasion or event.
