It is our pleasure to welcome you to Rivington Park Care Home situated in the heart of Chorley.

Rivington Park Care Home is a 24-bed nursing and residential care home, we are dedicated to improving the lives of adults requiring General Nursing care. We offer a person centred approach to the care and well-being of our Service Users.

Our philosophy of health and independent living is delivered at the local level by our kind, emphatic, and extensively trained care team. The team works well together and all have an important role to play in caring for the Service Users. This is reflected in our CQC reports and continued positive feedback on the Care Home UK website.

We work hard to provide companionship and kindness to all our Service Users, whilst ensuring their personal needs are met at all times.

Nursing Care

At Rivington Park, we provide 24-hour nursing care supervised by registered nurses, as well as personal and social care delivered by our team of skilled carers.

We are committed to focusing on improving our resident's quality of life by managing their conditions and providing the best nursing care possible. Residents with a range of complicated needs receive round-the-clock clinical care from our highly skilled and knowledgeable nursing staff. We collaborate with you and your loved one to develop a personalized care plan that is evaluated on a regular basis.

Since we take a person-centered approach to care, our nurses make a point of getting to know each resident in their care well, from the time of admission to the end of their lives. Individuals in need of nursing care have medical issues that call for routine nursing interventions, such as giving certain medications, taking blood, and closely monitoring vital signs to detect changes in a patient's health early.

Our rooms have types of equipment that make care for residents with nursing requirements safer and more comfortable for them, all while maintaining a warm and homely feel. These consist of mattresses and profile beds that can be modified for comfort and care, as well as different kinds of hoists that can help patients get in and out of chairs and stand up, thereby promoting their independence.

Dementia Care

Our experienced team delivers specialized, evidence based practice to ensure your loved ones receive the very best care.

Delta Care Ltd. is passionate about delivering sensitive care to those living with Dementia. Our staff team is provided with essential training and qualifications to aid them in their roles of caring for our Service Users.

We ensure our Service Users feel comfortable and safe within their new home, this is a space where they can express themselves and enjoy their individuality. Our activity schedules are designed to support and engage individuals with Dementia. We want to mentally and physically stimulate the people we care for and enhance their daily lives.

Our care homes are designed to support those living with dementia to make sense of their surroundings. We do this using features such as decor, rummage areas, sensory lounges, and gardens.

Great Fun Activities

We are committed to offering meaningful activities, companionship, and kindness to all Sevice Users.

Activities are an important part of the day, as such, we have a dedicated in-house Activity Coordinators who develops unique activity schedules, designed around Service Users' needs. We aim to provide a family atmosphere ensuring service users live a fulfilled, happy life in an environment they enjoy. We promote home and inclusion and ensure that everyone feels at home at our Rivington Park care home.

We pride ourselves on providing friendship and helping our residents to regain their independence and enjoyment of life through providing daily activities that they used to like but have stopped doing recently. Things like visiting the shops, doing arts and crafts, playing bingo or even popping down to the local pub.

We also offer trips out to local attractions of the Service Users' choosing which has proved extremely popular. We want to encourage a sense of community with our care home.

Scrumptious Food!

Our experienced team of Chefs ensures all meals and snacks are delicious, whilst reflecting the dietary needs of individuals.

The dining experience plays a key role in our daily lives and is no different for those living within our care home.

At Rivington Park, we all strive to maintain Service Users' independence enabling them to dine with dignity. Our chefs are trained to a high level to ensure they are able to prepare a well-balanced choice of menu for all our Service Users whose goal is to create a genuine pleasure, relaxing dining experience.

Our dedicated chefs cater to all specified diets from diabetics, intolerances, allergies, and cultural preferences and for those who have a varied diet and will speak to individuals to ascertain their likes and dislikes, menus are changed according to seasons and are discussed with service users, to include their favorite dishes.

Our catering team liaises with service Users, activity coordinators, and the Register manager to discuss themed events for the upcoming months. These include religious festivals, birthdays, and fetes, we also have BBQs in the warmer months on the patio area. Friends and family are welcome to join in all celebrations and fetes.

Your loved one needs to know like and trust our staff members completely if they are to feel comfortable in letting them care for them - and so do we.

So, we have a stringent, in-depth recruitment procedure to ensure that only the most caring and understanding of individuals get to care for your loved one. They are selected not because they want a job, but rather because caring for people is their vocation.

This is truly important and often overlooked in larger homes where there is often a regular turnover of staff and high pressure to recruit and fill a large workforce.
